Serving Society Through Spirituality, Education & Healthcare

Shree Ma Katyani Gyan Karta Ashram Trust was established in 2013 with the vision of serving society through spirituality, education, and healthcare. Located in Rishikesh, the ashram is home to the sacred Maa Katyani Mandir, where devotees gather for worship and spiritual activities. Guided by the principle of selfless service, the trust has continuously worked towards the welfare of the community.

The trust is registered under the Shree Ma Katyani Gyan Karta Ashram Trust. The organization was established by Mr. Gurvindur Saluja, along with other devoted trustees who have been actively serving since its inception in 2013. Before dedicating himself to social and spiritual service, Mr. Saluja was a successful businessman. Today, he and the trustees devote their efforts to the development and operation of the ashram and its charitable initiatives.

Sustainable Selfless Model

The trust's primary source of income is the accommodation provided at the ashram. While donations support its activities, they are not always consistent. To ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the trust's social welfare programs, the trustees personally contribute towards operational expenses whenever required.

Maa Katyani Mandir, Rishikesh

Maa Katyani is the 6th sacred form of Navadurga, embodying strength, spiritual awakening, and benevolence. Devotees visiting Rishikesh find peaceful solace, daily morning and evening aartis, and a deeply meditative atmosphere at our Mandir.

Gyan Karta Public School (Estd. 2018)

Located at Chandeshwar Nagar, Rishikesh

As part of its commitment to providing quality education to underprivileged children, the trust established Gyan Karta Public School in 2018 at Chandeshwar Nagar, Rishikesh. The school is an English-medium institution affiliated with the Uttarakhand Board and currently provides education from LKG to Class 8. More than 200 students are enrolled, with admission primarily offered to children from economically weaker families who cannot afford private education.

The school's mission is to provide quality education, strong values, and equal opportunities to every child, regardless of their financial background.

We offer 6 room categories: 2 Bed AC (₹1,100), 2 Bed Non-AC (₹700), 3 Bed AC (₹1,300), 3 Bed Non-AC (₹900), Gallery 2 Bed AC (₹1,300), and Gallery 3 Bed AC (₹1,500). Extra mattress is available for ₹200 across all categories.

The school was established in 2018 at Chandeshwar Nagar, Rishikesh. It is an English-medium institution affiliated with the Uttarakhand Board, serving LKG through Class 8.
