A Divine Vision of Nishkam Seva in the Holy City of Rishikesh
Shree Ma Katyani Gyan Karta Ashram Trust was established in 2013 with the vision of serving society through spirituality, education, and healthcare. Located in Rishikesh, the ashram is home to the sacred Maa Katyani Mandir, where devotees gather for worship and spiritual activities. Guided by the principle of selfless service, the trust has continuously worked towards the welfare of the community.
The trust is registered under the Shree Ma Katyani Gyan Karta Ashram Trust. The organization was established by Mr. Gurvindur Saluja, along with the other trustees, who have been actively serving the trust since its inception in 2013. Before dedicating himself to social and spiritual service, Mr. Saluja was a successful businessman. Today, he and the trustees devote their efforts to the development and operation of the ashram and its charitable initiatives.
Self-Sustaining Charitable Model
The trust's primary source of income is the accommodation provided at the ashram. While donations support its activities, they are not always consistent.
To ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the trust's social welfare programs, the trustees personally contribute towards the operational expenses whenever required.
Maa Katyani Mandir, Rishikesh
Situated peacefully in Rishikesh, Maa Katyani Mandir serves as the spiritual heart of our ashram. Devotees from across India and around the world come here to offer prayers to Goddess Katyani, the fierce yet profoundly compassionate sixth form of Goddess Durga who removes obstacles and grants wisdom and inner peace. Daily aartis, Vedic chants, and community satsangs fill the ashram with serene vibrational energy.

Ashram Accommodation
Providing clean, comfortable AC and Non-AC rooms with attached bathrooms, 24-hour water supply, and a pure sattvic atmosphere for devotees. Tariffs range from ₹700 to ₹1,500 per night.
Room tariffs serve as our lifeblood, directly paying for the operational costs of our school and hospital.
Gyan Karta Public School
Located at Chandeshwar Nagar, Rishikesh. English-medium institution affiliated with the Uttarakhand Board, serving over 200 children from LKG to Class 8 from economically weaker sections.
